Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job was with the real estate industry. It was here that she met Tarek. They had a great time up until 2008, when the stock market crashed and numerous house flippers and real estate investors went under. Tarek El Moussa, and Christina El Moussisa, nearly everything because of the 2008 stock market collapse. They moved from their expensive house, for which they paid $6,000 per month to a smaller home that cost just $700. Their business as well as the economy overall slowly regenerated. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 asked a friend to help him create an HGTV tape which showed Christina as well as him flipping a home from beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. These executives were fascinated by Tarek's and Christina's love story. The contract was agreed by the couple and HGTV. "Flip of Flop" w premiered in April of 2013. Over seven seasons between 2013 and 2017, the show ran 92 episodes. The show starred Christina and Tarek buying properties located in Orange County. They would spend weeks upgrading the houses so that they could sell them for the profit. Tarek is focused on the construction and renovations, and Christina oversees the designing. Christina also makes sure that all projects are completed in time.
