Sara Eisen
Sara Aliza Eisen (American television journalist) is currently working for CNBC. She is the co-anchor of CNBC's shows 'Squawkon on the Street' as well as Closing Bell'. The Ohio native who was not fascinated by the market and currencies while in college. While studying at New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. It is there that she gained her first exposure dealing with business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. After that, she was able to complete a four month-long internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She then returned to the US and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. She later became a TV anchor. CNBC employed her as a correspondent in December 2013. Before she was hired as a correspondent on 'Closing Bell', she was a co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch'. Eisen is the co-anchor of "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. A well-known journalist in the business world today her primary area of focus is global consumer news since joining CNBC.
